Production of posts & rails with a mortiser to make the holes in the posts. The mortiser is a large chainsaw chain whose guide is mounted on an axis that goes down and up vertically. Depending on the number of rails (2 or 3 rows) and the type of soil (soft vs. stony), the length of the posts and their thickness vary: Height: 2.1m or 2.5m and Perimeter: 35-40cm or 40-45cm.

The rails are sawn with a bandsaw. They are generally 3m long and 25-30cm in perimeter.
