Acacia is a slightly curved wood. To make milled stakes, the logs must first be sawn into a square section and then passed through a lathe. This implies a very low output. It takes about 10 cubic meters of logs to produce 1 cubic meter of milled stake. In addition to the low material output, the lathe that mills the acacia trunks turns slowly because the acacia wood in Romania is particularly hard.
