1. Firewood
Acacia Poles
Production of firewood placed on pallets in hardwood species (acacia, hornbeam, oak, beech) on rectangular pallets. The logs are cut to a length of 20, 25, 30, 40 or 50cm and placed on pallets with a net.
A 120cm diameter circular saw cuts several logs at once. The logs are fed by a conveyor belt that passes them over a screen to remove sawdust and other small pieces of wood. Then the firewood falls in bulk into a rectangular barrel. Once the barrel is full, it is gently lifted and a net is passed all around the pallet so that the firewood is well packed.
There are two different categories of firewood:
1. Round wood and logs
2. Wood waste (production results)
The dimensions of a pallet: 1m x 1.2m x 1.8m, or 2.16 cubic meters (mstr).
Weight varies depending on category:
1. Wood waste / remains: +/- 600 kg / pallet
2. Firewood / logs: +/- 800 kg / pallet
